Fei Wang Reed, also romanized as "Fei Wong Reed" is the main antagonist of both ×××HOLiC and Tsubasa Chronicle. He is a very distant relative of Clow Reed.
He is the one who indirectly created Watanuki after making a deal with Syaoran which make him lose his place in the world. As a replacement, Watanuki was created thus becoming Syaoran's alternate existence. Fei Wong tried to use Watanuki for his own plans but he was protected by Yuuko and his parents who gave him a fake name so Fei Wong couldn't find him. However, Fei Wong told the young Watanuki that because his existence was not meant to be, he would cause pain and suffering to the people close ot him, starting his parents.
In Chapter 122 of xxxHOLiC, Yūko reveals in a monologue that he is responsible for the soul stealing entities featured in Volume 5. Also, in Chapter 181 of Tsubasa, Yūko also reveals that this was when she discovered his whereabouts and that he needs the souls for the sake of his dream.
His ultimate goal is to obtain the power to travel across dimensions. In Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, he created both clones of Syaoran and Sakura, scattering Sakura's feathers in order to make Syaoran pursue them; this way her body would contain a map of the dimensions visited; also he casted the curse on the real Princess Sakura, killed Kurogane's mother, Xing Huo and the real Fay. He tried to turn both Fai and Kurogane into his allies, but couldn't succeed with Kurogane since Yuko and Princess Tomoyo found him first.
Once he reunited the feather in Tokyo, Tsubasa's soul and Sakura's body he achieved the power to revive the dead, breaking a logic that would cause all worlds to be destroyed. He intended to use this power to revive Yūko who was kept on the brink of death and her time being frozen by Clow, and thus claim himself Clow's superior. Despite all, he was killed by Kurogane and it is strongly implied that Clow's wish may have unintentionally created him.
